Some of you are thinking WHAT THE? Right? Others of you have done your research and want to get your nails dirty but maybe want to know a little more before you do.

Well lets hope I can pursuade the first group of you by educating you of the amazing benefits that a mother can reap if she does this... and also I want to help the second group of you. You dont have to pay someone all sorts of money to have this done... because I did it right here in my kitchen.. yep! 

I just wish I would have taken pictures.. that helps a ton.

Lets start with the benefits:

  • Decrease in baby blues and postpartum depression. (thyroid stimulating hormone)
  • Increase and enrich breastmilk.(Prolactin)

The theory is you are replacing the hormones you lost during the birthing process. The hormonal makeup in a mothers placenta cannot be found in any vitamin or prescription drug.
Supplies Needed:
Gloves
Cutting Board
- maybe one your willing to part with.
Knife
Capsules size0  150-200 of them one placenta can yield 125-175 capsules
Cap M Quik (from amazon.com)
 Dehydrator, I use a Nesco American Harvest
Food Processor or Coffee Grinder
Sanitizer and bleac

HOW TO:
  1. wash the placenta under cold water
  2. slice in into small enough strips to fit onto the dehydrator trays
  3. lay onto dehydrator til its dry. 6-8 hrs keep below 118 degrees if using the oven
  4. placed dried pieces into our blender to grind it up.
  5. put them into capsules and cap them
  6. store in sealed container and store in refridgerator

    Capsules can be kept indefinitly. Place in fridge. Take 2-3capsules about twice a day for the first two weeks. Then take when you feel you need a boost. Ive heard some mamas even kept there's for when menopause snuck its ugly head and this helped them with the symptoms.
